Continued development of the public Transfermarkt web platform — focused on modern frontend components, maintainability, testing, performance, and accessibility.

My contribution

• Built and evolved frontend components with Svelte and TypeScript
• Modernized and refactored existing platform areas
• Accessibility-focused refactoring of existing components to WCAG 2.1
• Automated tests with Vitest and Playwright; Storybook for isolated component work
• Shipped public modules such as “WHO AM I?” and reusable landing/navigation areas

Outcome

• More maintainable frontend building blocks for the ongoing platform
• More accessible UI in refactored components
• Public features such as the game and navigation modules live for users

Context

Browser-based CFC and SFC editors in the SIMATIC PCS neo space — complex Angular/TypeScript frontends with dynamically rendered SVG canvases and interactive editing logic.

My contribution

• Developed and evolved editor UIs with Angular, TypeScript, and SVG
• Implemented interactive function blocks, connections, and auto-layout for SVG canvases
• Contributed to the AngularJS-to-Angular migration and performance improvements

Outcome

• More stable, performant editor surfaces for industrial process automation

Context

Internal customer administration tool for managing customer data, contracts, and documents — focus on Vue.js, TypeScript, API integration, and steady delivery in a Scrum team.

My contribution

• Built Vue.js/TypeScript UI for customer master data and contract views
• Integrated GraphQL APIs, LDAP authentication, and Solr search
• Supported the Laravel relaunch; wrote tests and reviewed pull requests
